Awesome Weekend

After having a semi-crappy week, the weekend made up for it. At The Farm Show Complex, the KILE horse show held its first ever model horse show.  While it was far from being my best show, it was not my worst show. And best of all I got to see Plastic Pony Peeps and meet new model horse people. I have realized that I *do* need to put more time into my showing though. I really need to plan out my entries for future shows. But that's for later.
There will be more show pictures soon!

On Sunday I had my first lesson with the coach for the riding team. It's a nice barn, and the horse I rode was fun too. I've never fallen off thus far in riding, even though I've had close calls. Last night though, there was no way I was staying on. I was transitioning down from canter to trot and lost my stirrups and was leaning on my better side and rolled off. The new flooring padded me pretty well, so I was dusted off and get back on again. :) Can't wait to do more there!
It's slightly dark, and a sucky picture, but I felt like a barn picture was needed!

Winging It!

It takes great skill to mix up show dates. It takes even more skill to accidently be a week early instead of being a day late.
That was me, last week. Woke up, and was about to leave and realized that I was a week early. Lucky Me! The show is tomorrow, and I am so winging it. I did make something new, but the past week has been readingsbookIdon'tcareabout which means avoidbookandreadmorefunthings and tests. So The show I thought was last week is tomorrow! It's near me(like 15 minutes tops from my house) so I get to sleep in, in terms of getting up for shows.
Other cool things happened last week.
Yard sale season is coming to a close so since I didn't have a show to go to, my mom and I decided do yard sales. Before going to yard sale, Mom convinced me to go to the gym. Yup. That happened. I walked and read. Multitasking.
One of the last yard sales had a saddle. Which is unusual for a yard sale, and I'd never seen this type of saddle before.
I bought a bunch of craft stuff at the yard sales. I got nutcrackers for potential jumps. The cross stitching hoops were a steal as was the large bag of white felt.
Creepy dolls past their prime equal perfect zombies. Because zombie toddlers are the right thing to make.
An author was giving away advanced reader copies of her novel, so of course I had to grab one. She signed it for me too!
The most exciting thing I bought was this. Coca-Cola salt and pepper shakers. They're classic/pebble sized but will be a cute jump.
Well, my cat is trying to lay on my keyboard, and I should get some sleep, so have a great weekend everyone!

Fear The Walking Dead Giveaway

After doing work on a girth, it was time to pick the two winners of the giveaway. Thank you to everyone who entered! <3 p="">I typed up both of the names and placed them in a cup and then looked for my sister, Kendall, to pull the two names. She apparently went to bed because she's smart like that, so I found my mom. She was more than happy to pull two names out.

Here are the winners!

Congrats! Please use the contact form or email me at breyerhorselover11@gmail.com so we can talk about your prizes. :)

A Great Mail Week

College started out fast from the start. Which isn't a bad thing because I do enjoy college (minus math!). The Equestrian Club will be starting up soon and I joined a couple of new clubs this fall (Photography Club and the campus lit magazine). College is a whole awesome world within itself, so my plastic pony time has been limited. But that doesn't stop me from buying supplies!
This came during the week.
The two saddle trees are by Kirsteen Haley-Nettles and are pleasure type. It's my first time trying this tree style I have to clean them up, but that's not at the top of my to do list. I'm hoping to finish long overdue things and start on new orders.
And the Fear The Walking Dead contest is over, but I'll let in any stragglers until I pull the 2 winners.  I'm hoping to draw the winners either tomorrow or Monday so you have until then to comment. Hopefully everyone has had (or will have) a great weekend.
