The Organizing Monster

During our model horse madness, Elizabeth was also an organizing monster.
She looked at my shelves of models and even though I did not see anything particularly wrong, she did.
I didn't see anything wrong with having a different Weather Girl on each shelf or my Nakotas separated. But Lizzie did. And she released her organizing skills upon my collection.

And they look so much better now. Much more organized. The ones in the curio are my show horses, separated by mold, and  reason.

The ones in the closet are mostly my non-showers.
Down in the craft room, Lizzie put my performance horses there so that I could do set ups and such.

She organized my good bodies.

Then organized my resins.
Can't forget about cows!

Pretty Models

Elizabeth also brought cool stuff with her.
She brought a harness,
And had this to organize her tack,
 A nice western saddle
But this guy was the best. He had so much detail!(I can't remember who made him).

And I also loved her one of a kind FQH stallion.

Model Horse Fun Day

The past 2 days were designated model horse days.
Elizabeth of Blue Spring Stables came over and we had 2 days of playing with my cats,
 Making props,

 Fangirling over pretty ponies,
 Organizing,
 and goofing around.
This is my new resin! She was painted by Sue Kern and was sculpted by Kathleen Moody.

The Night Before A Fun Day

Tomorrow I'm having a model horse fun day.
So I bought *secret* supplies at Michaels and Ac Moore.

And cleaned the craft room at my house.

All ready! :)

Being On Top Of Things

Today I mailed my Feather Fund donations models to their pre-new home. I did snap some pictures of them before sending them off.
I made one to look like Ace or Black Tie Affair

Angel Wings

The pair

I also even sent in my entry form to a show early.
Doing that made me realize that for showing I really need to plan out my entries. Not making a bunch of separate props beforehand without much of a final plan. So for my September show, my goal will be to fully plan out my setups and set them up beforehand. :)

Progress!

Even though Breyerfest is only three days, I feel like it takes a week to recover. But today was an overall productive day!
I made alot of progress on my Feather Fund donation. Just one more layer and then her eyes and she'll be done!

I also made progress on the saddle. I decided to redo the whole thing since I wasn't happy with it. I like this one much better because I redid the way I do seats.

Show Jumping Jumps

While at Breyerfest there was also another competition going on that dealt with real horses.
There were some very cool jumps, so I took pictures of them, for reference and for others to use if they want to make a jump. :)

Made With Code

Today this arrived in the mail. The sad thing is that I had forgotten about it.

This is the *very short* backstory. First, it was made by Made With Code. Made With Code is a program by Google that was created to encourage girls to get excited about coding, with the hope that more girls would enter into the tech industry. Google is investing $50 million dollars into the program over the next 3 years, and on the website there are how-tos and such that deal with coding. It really is a cool program and I applaud the 2 companies on putting their foot where their mouth is (they want to try to get more girls interested? So they fund a project to try to make it happen).
My only jump into coding was another hobby that I'm still semi-a part of. Petz. Each of the original breeds looked like dogs or cats but you could download programs that allowed you to redo the petz and make them into creatures that you wanted.
Hence how I got horses

hippogriffs,

cheetahs,

other dog breeds,
And other animals.

I coded and used another program called the Petz Workshop. I spent many many hours on the game........
So the bracelet.
The cool part of the program is that you can make 2 free 3-d bracelets. The website is very easy to use and the bracelets are very cool. It literally costs you 0$. The shipping is free too. The bracelet is very cute.
So of course I made one bracelet that says Five Paws Studio and another one that says DFTBA. So click away at the link, read about the program, and make a bracelet or two. :)

Also, Five Paws Studio is now also on Tumblr. I'm still figuring out what one does with it, but if you have a model horse/horse themed tumblr, follow me and I'll follow back! It's actually a pretty cool thing.
